These Terms and Conditions govern your use of RaiseKnowledge. By accessing or using this platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
By accessing or using RaiseKnowledge ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using the platform on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, business claimants, and any other party who interacts with the platform in any way.
You may use RaiseKnowledge for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
Submit fake, fabricated, or misleading reviews about any business.
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to submit reviews, votes, or interact with the platform in a way that circumvents our fraud detection systems.
Harass, threaten, defame, or publish personal information about any individual in a review or reply.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, server infrastructure, or other users' accounts.
Use the platform to promote or advertise products, services, or third-party websites in reviews or community responses.
Reproduce, scrape, or republish content from the platform in bulk without our written permission.
Post content that is unlawful, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable under applicable law.
To submit reviews or vote on the platform, you must create a registered account. By creating an account, you agree to:
Provide truthful and accurate information when registering. Do not impersonate another person or use a misleading identity.
Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Creating multiple accounts to circumvent voting limits, rate limiting, or suspension is strictly prohibited and will result in all accounts being banned.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. Users under 18 should have parental consent before registering.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms without prior notice.
Reviews are the core of RaiseKnowledge. To protect the integrity of the platform, all reviews must meet the following standards:
Genuine experience — You must have had a real, direct experience with the business you are reviewing. Reviews based on second-hand accounts or hearsay are not permitted.
Honest and accurate — Reviews must be truthful to the best of your knowledge. Deliberately false or exaggerated claims intended to harm a business are not permitted.
No private information — Do not include personal data of individuals (names, addresses, phone numbers, emails) in your review without their consent.
No conflicts of interest — Employees, owners, and partners of a business may not submit reviews for that business. Competitors may not submit reviews with the intent to damage a rival's rating.
No incentivised reviews — Reviews submitted in exchange for payment, discounts, gifts, or any other benefit are strictly prohibited.
Original content — Your review must be written by you. Do not copy reviews from other platforms or sources.
By submitting a review, you grant RaiseKnowledge a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to display, distribute, and use your review content on the platform and in related promotional materials.
The no-delete policy is the foundational principle of RaiseKnowledge. Understanding it fully is important before you use the platform.
Once a review is published, no business — regardless of subscription level, legal representation, or payment — can have it removed. Businesses may reply to reviews publicly.
Reviews may only be removed by RaiseKnowledge administrators in cases of clear violations of these terms — such as harassment, doxxing, or provably false content. This is rare and never at a business's request.
Because reviews are permanent, reviewers bear full responsibility for the accuracy and lawfulness of their content. Think carefully before submitting. We cannot undo a published review on your behalf.
If you delete your account, your reviews remain on the platform attributed to "Anonymous User." The review record is permanent even if your personal account is removed.
Businesses may claim their profile on RaiseKnowledge to manage their public presence. By claiming a business profile, you agree to the following additional terms:
You represent that you have legal authority to claim the business profile and act on behalf of the entity.
Claiming a business profile grants you the ability to add business information, respond to reviews, and view rating analytics. It does not grant any rights over review content.
Business replies must be professional, factual, and respectful. Threatening, harassing, or defamatory replies will be removed and may result in loss of claim privileges.
Businesses may not solicit, incentivise, or coerce customers into writing positive reviews or removing existing ones.
The no-delete policy applies equally to claimed and unclaimed business profiles. Claiming a profile confers no rights to request review removal under any circumstances.
All platform content, design, code, trademarks, and branding including the RaiseKnowledge name and logo are the property of RaiseKnowledge and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the review content you submit. However, by submitting content you grant us a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the platform and in related materials.
You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute the RaiseKnowledge name, logo, or platform design without prior written consent. Personal use of individual review pages for reference is permitted.
Reviews on RaiseKnowledge represent the opinions of individual users. We do not verify the accuracy of every claim made in a review and are not responsible for the content submitted by users.
Content on RaiseKnowledge is for informational purposes only. Nothing on the platform constitutes financial, legal, medical, or professional advice of any kind.
We aim to keep the platform available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any loss resulting from platform downtime or technical issues.
The platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any external site. Visiting third-party links is at your own risk.
RaiseKnowledge displays Google AdSense advertisements. These ads are served by Google and are independent of editorial content. Advertisers have no influence over review rankings, ratings, or content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RaiseKnowledge shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or its content.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms and Conditions. This includes but is not limited to:
Submitting fake or fraudulent reviews detected by our systems.
Creating multiple accounts to bypass platform restrictions.
Harassing or threatening other users or businesses through the platform.
Any activity that threatens the integrity, security, or trustworthiness of the platform.
Upon termination, your account access will be revoked. Reviews you have submitted will remain on the platform, attributed to "Anonymous User," in accordance with our no-delete policy.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
For significant changes, we will notify registered users by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
We encourage you to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically the laws applicable in the state of Punjab.
Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Punjab, India.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
